Instalasi
Please download the plugin you purchased from your account page first. Then, upload it to your website by going to:
Plugins > Add New Plugin > Upload Plugin > Choose File > Install Now.
Once the installation is complete, click Activate for the Compress Images for WordPress plugin on the Plugins page.

How To Use
The compress, resize, and convert to WebP features in the Compress Images for WordPress plugin can be used through three methods:
- Auto Optimize
The process is triggered automatically when you upload an image to the media library. - Action Link
You can manually trigger the process by clicking compress, resize, or convert to WebP for each individual image. - Bulk Action
Optimize multiple images at once by selecting them and choosing to compress, resize, or convert to WebP in bulk.
Basic Settings
These configurations form the basis for all compression, resizing, and WebP conversion actions. The settings are as follows:
- Auto Scale
Selectdisable
if you do not want your image URLs to end with-scaled.jpg
.
✔ Recommended to disable this to retain original image sizes. - Compress Quality
Determines the level of image compression.
🎯 A visually acceptable quality range is typically between:30 – 50
. - Resize Max Width
Sets the maximum image width after resizing.
📐 Use2560
to maintain the common maximum image size standard on the web. - Resize Max Height
Sets the maximum image height after resizing.
📐 Same as above—2560
is a good standard size. - WebP Conversion Quality
Sets the quality of images when converted to WebP format.
🎯 An ideal range for WebP quality (lightweight but sharp):50 – 70
.
📝 Note:
- Lower quality = smaller file size, but may lead to slight blurring.
- It’s recommended to back up your media before performing bulk resize or conversion.
Auto Optimize
Enable/Disable automatic optimization upon upload. The settings are as follows:
- Compress: reduce image file size by adjusting its quality
- Resize: change image resolution while maintaining aspect ratio
- Convert to WebP: convert image format to the latest generation format
Display Rules
Remove unnecessary user interface elements to enhance user experience. The settings are as follows:
- Auto Optimize Toggle

Update
Make sure to perform a backup before updating!
To perform an update, go to the Plugins menu and locate the Compress Images for WordPress plugin. If an update is available, simply click Update Now as shown in the image below.
