Bambu Runcing Security

Bambu Runcing Security is a plugin designed to provide basic protection for your WordPress website. In addition to security features, this plugin also offers several basic customization options that may be useful for general site management needs.

Installation

Please download the plugin you have purchased from your account page. Then upload it to your website via the menu Plugins > Add New Plugin > Upload Plugin > Choose File > Install Now.

After the installation is successful, click Activate for the Onesender Sheet Broadcast plugin on the Plugins page.

Configuration

Here are several settings provided by this plugin that are very useful for securing your website, including:

• File Editor: Disables WordPress’s built-in file editor for themes and plugins to prevent unauthorized code modifications.
• Always HTTPS: Forces all connections to use HTTPS, ensuring data is transmitted securely between users and your site.
• XML-RPC: Disables XML-RPC functionality, protecting your site from brute force attacks and unauthorized access attempts.
• Security Headers: Adds essential security headers like Content-Security-Policy, X-Content-Type-Options, and others to protect your site from common vulnerabilities.
• Limit Login Attempts: Limits the number of login attempts to prevent brute force attacks on your login page.
• Hide WordPress Version: Removes WordPress version details from the frontend, backend, and source code to reduce the risk of targeted attacks.
• Hide WordPress Footer Credit: Removes or modifies the default WordPress footer credit text in the admin panel.
• Hide WordPress Version Credit: Removes or modifies the WordPress version information in the admin footer credit text.
• Admin Bar: Customizes or disables the admin bar for specific user roles to streamline the interface and enhance security.
• WordPress Logo: Removes the WordPress logo from the admin bar for a more personalized branding experience.
• Update Bar: Hides the update notification bar on the dashboard for non-administrator users.
• Comment Bar: Removes the comment icon from the admin bar for a cleaner interface.
• New Content Bar: Hides the “New” menu from the admin bar to prevent unauthorized content creation.
• Redirection After Login: Enables custom redirection after user login to improve flow and navigation.
• Redirection After Registration: Enables custom redirection after user registration to simplify the onboarding process.

Update

To perform an update, go to the Plugins menu and find the Bambu Runcing Security plugin. If an update is available, simply click Update Now as shown in the image below.
